Belfast Hen Weekends

Belfast, translated as "The sandy ford at the river mouth" is the largest city and capital of Northern Island. To the north west of the city lies huge hills including 'Cave Hill' which Jonathan Swift, the author of Gulliver’s Travels, thought resembled the shape of a colossal sleeping giant, who protected the city with his strength and size. One could say that Belfast is a very enchanting place that conjures up such feelings amongst it’s residence and also those who come to visit. As well as the breathtaking landscape that stretches for miles with deep green fields and blue waters, Belfast has become a gateway to the rest of Northern island allowing tourism to flow through.
