Budapest is a Hen Heaven favourite, and a big reason for that is because of the nightlife. We’ve done plenty of on-site reseach/ partying in Hungary, and we know the best spots to send our hens to. We highly recommend one of our amazing bar crawls on one of your first nights, it gets you into the city and without you having to worry about things like “where am I?”, “how did we get here?” and “what’s in this shot?”, you just get to worry about having a good time as your guide shows you around some of the best spots in town.
One of the real highlights of Budapest’s nightlife, which separates it from other cities are the ruin bars. These unique venues are all about ramshackle décor, hidden entrances and being some of the most popular venues around with both locals and tourists alike. They’re great to explore for the novelty, as well as to see how the Hungarians really party.
Budapest has become well known for its operas and its opera house is a piece of history and culture. Well worth a visit.
Budapest sits atop some 100+ thermal springs, and taking in these waters is a part of everyday life. The city itself is covered in thermal spas, some of which have existed since the Turkish occupation and offer a rich cultural insight into the city, whereas others are more modern with all the mod-cons you’d expect of a world class spa facility.
Whether it’s de-stressing ahead of the big day, or just trying to get rid of a lingering hangover – we’d highly recommend a dip in these waters. Just click here to add a relaxing thermal visit, along with a massage, to your booking.
If a spa experience isn’t enough for you ladies who leisure, maybe our prosecco bike is? Fuelled by everyone’s fave sparkling beverage, you and the girls get to drink as you tour around the city and take in the sights. Don’t worry, all the heavy work is done by a friendly guide!
Feeling Hungary? (sorry).
This country has more than 1000 years of History behind it and with the city claiming it has the best galleries museums and theatres in Hungary, it also has an impressive culture. But it isn’t just art and history making a name for itself as every year it welcome hundreds of hen parties to it’s beautiful city.
The Danube river splits the city in half into west and east, or Buda and Pest which can help orientate you. When it comes to getting around, trusting in your legs is often the best option. If you’re in the city centre a gentle stroll is a great way to see many of the city’s best sights.
The city’s public transit system isn’t as well established as the systems of other major European cities. This doesn’t mean that you shouldn’t it for A to B journeys however. And in fact many of the more touristy routes have been renovated and can be held to a higher standard than some of the more ‘out of the way’ destinations.
And if this all sounds far too much like hard work when you’re in Hungary to relax, our team are able to arrange an array of transfers to make your transportation as easy as possible.
