The Top 30 Hen Party Games

1. Drunk Dealer

Hen party games

If you’re looking for a quick and sure-fire way to get the drinks flowing, Drunk Dealer is a guaranteed winner.

What You Need:

A standard deck of cards

Plenty of drinks

How to Play:

You’ll start with a full deck of cards and one person will be assigned as dealer. Going anti-clockwise, each player will take it in turns to guess the card on the top of the deck. The player will guess the number and the dealer will then tell them if the card is higher or lower than the guess after which the player gets another go. If the player gets the number correct on either goes, the dealer must drink. The card is then placed on the table and it’ll be the next players turn to make a guess.

If the player gets it wrong, they’ll need to drink. Once the dealer beats three players, the deck of cards is passed on and a new dealer is assigned. However, if the player gets the number right, the dealer will have to drink, and the number of wins for the dealer is reset to zero. As the game moves on and more cards are laid on the table, it gets easier and easier to guess what the next card is going to be. So, whoever is stuck as dealer by the of the game will have a lot of drinking to do!

2. Ring of Fire

Hen party games

This classic game will take you back to your university years and will get everyone in the party spirit. If you’ve played this before, you know this is not a pretty sight!

What You Need:

A standard deck of cards

A jug

Plenty of drinks

How to Play:

Spread out the cards in a circle around the jug, aka, The King Cup. Each player will take it in turns to pick up a card. Each card has a different meaning. Here are what the cards mean in ring of fire:

2 = You. The player who drew picks who drinks.

3 = Me. The player who drew drinks. 4 for ‘whores’ so all the ladies drink.

5 = Thumbmaster where the player gains a power to put their thumb down at any chosen time and the last person to copy has to drink.

6 = Chicks to drink (or dicks if there are any guys in your party).

7 = heaven, meaning the player can point to the sky any time and everyone must copy; the last person to do so drinks. 8 means mate so whoever drew can drink with a chosen buddy.

8 = Mate. Pick a buddy to drink with.

9 = Rhyme. The person who drew says a word and you go around the circle saying a word that rhyme with it until someone can’t and has to drink.

10 = Categories. Think of a category (e.g. types of cocktail, Britney songs, colours) and go around the circle naming appropriate words until someone can’t and drinks.

Jack = Make a rule. This can be anything! Break the rule and you drink.

Queen = Question Master. Gain a power that means anyone who answers a question you ask has to drink.
