Looks like it’s not just the TOWIE crew who are favouring sunny Marbella hen weekends instead of Hen Weekends in Ibiza. O.K. so the TOWIE crew weren’t really on a hen weekend (more like a holiday) but with the amount of partying and drinking involved it may as well have been!

Anyway back to the subject at hand… We couldn’t help but notice that many British celebrities have recently been flocking to the sunny city to enjoy its hot climate, cheap booze and sandy beaches.  The most recent celebrity is Kym Marsh (former Hearsay singer and current Coronation Street actress) who flew over to Puerto Banus to celebrate her hen weekend with family and friends.

The lovely Kym is set to marry fiancé Jamie Lomas (Hollyoaks actor) in September, in an intimate wedding at Nunsmere Hall Hotel in Cheshire. The pair starting dating in 2008 but split in in October 2009 shortly after the death of their newborn baby Archie. However a month later they reconciled and on Christmas day Jamie proposed and well… here we are!

Ms Marsh obviously couldn’t wait to become Mrs Lomas, as she was papped several times flashing her engagement ring to photographers whilst relaxing by the poolside. We’re also happy to report that despite being a celebrity Kym wasn’t one to break tradition: she very appropriately kitted herself out in bunny ears, L-plates, a sash and a veil during a big night out – We approve!

Like we said before in our “The only way is…Marbs” article. Marbella has suddenly become the destination of choice for both celebrities and hen parties recently.  Mind you we can’t think why… Could it be the great weather? The reasonably priced drinks or the warm sandy beaches that have been enticing sun seeking Brits to its shores?

Most probably!

So if you fancy yourself in a bikini more than boots at the moment, then now seems to be the perfect time to have a look at Marbella hen weekend packages.
