Groomed grooms are they getting worse than brides?
Categories: Wedding Advice For Women
So it’s not just brides on a hen party who are concerned about how they will look on their big day. Oh no. A recent survey conducted by menswear brand Jacamo has found that groom-to-be’s are also splashing their cash on their appearance in a bid to look the best on their wedding day and impress guests and family. The results found that almost a quarter of men admitted to having their teeth whitened and 6% opted for the more extreme measures and went for plastic surgery.
WHAT THE GROOMS SPEND THEIR CASH ON...
1. Hair cut - 49%
2. Professional cut throat razor shave - 37%
3. Teeth whitening - 23%
4. Fake tan - 16%
5. Waxing - 11%
6. Dance lessons -8%
7. Plastic surgery including lipo, nose job, penis enlargement - 6%
8. Eyebrows professionally plucked -6%
9. Manicure or pedicure - 5%
10. Dye hair - 4%
Interestingly this confirms that budgets for weddings are increasing from the stag and hen do to the wedding day. It is the one event in your life that you will only do once (hopefully!) It shows that it is just as important for men as women to look their best on their wedding day and as long as the groom doesn't up stage the bride- I'm all for it!!
