Hens in Pyjamas – Hen Heaven get Onesie’d up for Children in Need

Categories: News

What’s your chosen style of pyjama? Just the old t-shirt and jogging bottoms, a full buttoned-up cotton pyjama set, a nightie (that one might be saved for certain occasions though) or the new night time outfit that almost everyone is going for, for both its comedy effect and supreme comfort: yes it’s the onesie! I was even walking through Brighton this week and bumped into a group of women on their hen night all dressed up in an eclectic mix of onesies… the all in one phenomenon really has begun.

Well today Hen Heaven gave those onesie’d up hens a run for their money and raised some in the process, all coming in to work in our own pyjamas in the name of Children in Need. Without a doubt the onesie was the outfit of choice throughout the office… and they weren’t just any old onesies, but instead included those that range from The Incredible Hulk, a penguin, stars and stripes (that was mine) all the way to a giraffe and a huge, fearsome dinosaur… there was even a pair of gigantic bear feet slippers.

Take a look at the photo above to see for yourself and even let us know what you did for the occasion this year. Or are you going to be another bride-to-be taking a gang of onesie dressed hens to your Bournemouth hen weekend? Whatever the case, we hope Children in Need continues to raise millions and millions each year.

I’m sure that many from the Hen Heaven offices will be wearing their pyjamas all the way home before settling on the sofa for a night of Pudsey-based entertainment which includes Alan Sugar meeting the Eastenders, a Strictly Come Dancing special with Ann Widdecombe and Russell Grant and the BBC Newsreaders taking on the Top Gear test track!
