Sheffield Hen Parties

This is a city that’s undergone loads of change and regeneration in recent years. That paired with a thriving student population, gives Sheffield a modern and youthful vibe that’s perfect for parties! The River Sheaf runs straight through the city, providing gorgeous views for those river-side cocktails we all love.

It might be known as Steel City, but Sheffield is also surprisingly green with loads of open spaces, parks and Yorkshire countryside to explore; the perfect place to nurse a hangover or tuck into a picnic in the warmer months. Lots of green space also means lots of energetic activities for sporty hens who might be interested to know that the city’s also home to the world’s first official footie club.

What to Expect During a Sheffield Hen Do

The buzzing city centre is full of cultural attractions, leisure facilities, shops, bars and restaurants. There’s something for everyone here, no matter what your budget is. A Sheffield hen weekend can be cheap as chips or more expensive if you’d prefer to splash out and really treat yourselves.

If you want to party hard, you’re going to love every minute of your hen do in Sheffield! It’s packed with vibrant bars and dance ‘til you drop nightclubs. And because you’re up north, you’ll enjoy those value for money drink prices, particularly popular with southerners. The locals are famously lovely and welcome hen parties with open arms.

You’ll also find a buzzing live music scene if that’s your jam. Many quality musicians and bands hail from this city including Arctic Monkeys, Def Leppard, Pulp and The Human League. You’ll recognise the city sights if you’ve seen the 90s movie The Full Monty (who hasn’t?). Sheffield’s proud of its claims to fame and even has its own Walk of Fame!

Outdoor Hen Do Activities in Sheffield

If you want to explore the great outdoors during your Sheffield hen party, we know the most fun way to do it; with a fun activity, of course! Why not relive the good old days with a hilariously retro School Sports Day? You’ll split into teams, don coloured headbands and compete against each other in a range of races such as egg and spoon, sack, three-legged and Space Hopper. If funny sporting activities are your thing, you could even try a game of dodgeball. Trust us, it’s way more fun to play as adults!
