A night out in Southampton is always a memorable one and you can make it as wild as you like! There are venues for you and the girls to get glammed up for, or more relaxed venues for you to just rock up in your trainers and T’s without needing a dress code.
One of Southampton’s busiest clubs (popular in most cities) is Oceana and you’ll find it in Leisure World, also home to The Grosvenor Casino and many other bars and restaurants. This area is perfect if you’re looking to go somewhere to have dinner, pre-drinks and a party afterwards, without having to travel around.
The city offers a variety of traditional pubs, alongside trendy bars and music venues to satisfy its thriving student culture. Whether you are looking for an elegant cocktail bar, an urban pub, a gig venue or booming night club, Southampton will not disappoint.
The Titanic, Benny Hill, Craig David, Jane Austen and the Southampton Docks.
You might not be interested in the Maritime museum, though if you are, it offers all sorts of interesting information about the docking history of the city. If culture and a bit of history is your thing, then choose a guided walk and see it all for yourself. When the weather is good, the city and the water looks really beautiful – fresh air is the cure to any hangover.
Our River Cruise Hen Weekend Package definitely offers an exciting alternative, if the Maritime museum doesn’t float your boat! So be sure to check it out alongside all our other activity packages.
If you know one thing about Southampton it has to be the Titanic. The heart-breaking tale, so well told by the gorgeous Leonardo DiCaprio has made us weep for years. Yes, the doomed liner set sail on its maiden voyage from the city and to this very day it is known as the 'cruise capital of Northern Europe'.
Southampton is quite a large city, spread over quite a large area, so you might need a little bit of help getting around. The city’s network of buses stops regularly and can take you almost anywhere, so it’s a good idea to seek them out. If public transport puts a downer on your glam weekend, you could skip the hassle altogether and book transfers with us and we'll take you to and from your activities!
